California ex-Democrats for John McCain eye the “Pelosi Pork” in light of the truth squads… ELECTION 2008!

(ala Teddy Roosevelt around here…)

Well, what can I say about this morning, and the TRUTH SQUADS? My friends at NQ and The Confluence have the heds, so did the Patriot Room. Read everybody on this one, what can I say…but before we go there, this was something all us ex-Dems 2008 need to see, because it comes from Bill Clinton:

Bill Clinton urges voters to make election about ‘something real’

Not a bad idea. He said, from the above:

“…We’re going to have to make this election about something real,” Clinton tells the long-time interviewer.

“Who is on your side? Who is for your future? Who would be best for America and for the world? Who is going to bring back the American dream and define it in 21st century terms so that it’s really achievable for people? And who is going to restore our standing in the world?” Clinton asks…”

Well, the “reality” of this election just keeps coming to the fore doesn’t it?

Here are my pal’s takes on the TRUTH SQUADS!

John McCain Suppressing Free Speech in Missouri!

Say The Wrong Obama Thing in Missouri, Get Arrested! Not So Fast, Says Governor. »

Well, after watching that…funny thing…I started seeing all those searches for the American Flag start up behind the scenes over here at my place. One thing that Flag of ours stands for is “TRUTH, JUSTICE and THE AMERICAN WAY.”

Now, the above seems odd, doesn’t it? It’s not exactly what we call THE AMERICAN WAY, is it? I couldn’t help but notice in the video THAT LOGO we are all so familiar with by now, plastered on a DOOR! Did you spot that?

Over at AMERICAN THINKER, they have a really good piece up on NARCISSISM — we had been talking about that, as well as malignant narcissism. They referenced the same author I did — he has another piece up over at the AMERICAN CHRONICLE, that might be of interest in light of this whole TRUTH SQUAD AFFAIR. Here are the stories:

Obama, Oprah, and the Guru: Malignant Narcissism

This is the one you want to READ VERY CAREFULLY, below — it unpacks a lot more of what we are seeing happen in light of this morning’s news:

Barack Obama – Narcissist or Merely Narcissistic?

It’s an EXCELLENT REVIEW of what we already covered earlier, but the last few grafs tell the tale, above, the thing is, you can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool…friends of mine… can you? Nope.

“…When these flimsy attempts to patch a tattered personal mythology fail – the narcissist is injured. Narcissistic injury inevitably leads to narcissistic rage and to a terrifying display of unbridled aggression. The pent-up frustration and hurt translate into devaluation. That which was previously idealized – is now discarded with contempt and hatred.

This primitive defense mechanism is called “splitting”. To the narcissist, things and people are either entirely bad (evil) or entirely good. He projects onto others his own shortcomings and negative emotions, thus becoming a totally good object. A narcissistic leader is likely to justify the butchering of his own people by claiming that they intended to kill him, undo the revolution, devastate the economy, or the country, etc.

The “small people”, the “rank and file”, the “loyal soldiers” of the narcissist – his flock, his nation, his employees – they pay the price. The disillusionment and disenchantment are agonizing. The process of reconstruction, of rising from the ashes, of overcoming the trauma of having been deceived, exploited and manipulated – is drawn-out. It is difficult to trust again, to have faith, to love, to be led, to collaborate. Feelings of shame and guilt engulf the erstwhile followers of the narcissist. This is his sole legacy: a massive post-traumatic stress disorder…”

Yeah. It’s like that.

So, many Dems do want to do the right thing this year. That means leaving a political party that has allowed a level of corruption the likes we have never seen in our lifetimes. When Canada weighs in with this? You wonder what the rest of the world is thinking, no?

Obama’s Marxism steps out of the shadows and into the public realm

“…While American politicians were trying to perfume the $700-billion Wall Street bailout with the smell of roses, and while average Americans were worrying about their future, something even more disturbing was in the works this weekend.

Marxism stepped out of the shadows to make its first bold public outing in St. Louis, Missouri…”

the article goes on:

“…Strangely enough News 4 did not include Gov. Matt Blunt’s charge that Obama’s campaign was making an “abusive use of Missouri law enforcement” in their televised coverage of the Barack Obama Truth Squad…

“St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, and Obama and the leader of his Missouri campaign Senator Clare McCaskill have attached the stench of police state to the Obama-Biden campaign,” Blunt said in an official statement released Saturday…

“What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment…”

One of the problems “the crew” surrounding a narcissist has, is that they just don’t want to believe anything could be possibly wrong with a leader they have fallen so in love with. A narcissist depends on that kind of support, because it props up the fantasy of grandiosity they need. What surprises me though, is why Pelosi seems to be involved! Hmmm…

Now, back during the primaries, when we had seen “electioneering” going on — a newsman named Jake Tapper tipped us to The Election A pretty fabulous place if I do say so myself. I went back there today to see what they had to say in light of all this — they have some pretty interesting things you might want to look at over there, yourselves. They tipped me off to the video below!

Wall Street Journal’s John Fund Discusses ACORN’s history of fraud

Well, after I watched that — the plot got even thicker when I started wondering, hmmm… (and then some) because over here, at a place called THE GATEWAY PUNDIT, they had this piece below up! Now see, California Dems, like I said before, sort of invented ACTIVISM, didn’t we? In the 70’s. But not THIS KIND OF ACTIVISM!

Since Pelosi seems to be part of something quite, shall we say “Porky” — we just can’t help but wonder what her role in all of this is, was, and WHO she is trying to protect? It’s weird, isn’t it? Ummm, hmmmmm.

We so want to see Cindy Sheehan in her place as it is. But?

House GOP Removes Pelosi Pork to ACORN From Bailout Plan

The Gateway Pundit has a video up at that link you don’t want to miss. Because you are really going to have a lot of questions about just who Pelosi is trying to protect after you see it. I did. Click that and you can watch it — be prepared!

Now, SFGate is the San Francisco Chronicle — in California — they had this to say about all of this…

Unpopular bailout plan on track in Congress

I find this interesting…

“…Pelosi, who has begun referring to the “Bush financial crisis,” said she and others were “quite stunned to see a $700 billion price tag” on the plan Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson dropped in the lap of Congress last weekend…”

Here is more back story on ACORN, for those who want to know more:

ACORN Cracks Wide Open

Back to the GATEWAY PUNDIT’s article referenced above for this:

“…Eliminating Special Interest Earmarks:

Prior to House Republicans stepping in, Democrats had loaded up the bill with special interest provisions. Provisions removed by House Republicans include:

** Provision to provide unions and other activist groups with proxy access for corporate boards

** Provision to mandate shareholder votes on compensation issues (union priority)

** Diversion of funds into a housing fund to support left-wing activist groups like ACORN

** A provision to allow trial judges to arbitrarily adjust mortgages, creating bonanza for trial lawyers

** A provision to require the government to sell to state and local governments at a discount homes the government acquires as a result of foreclosure…”

I guess, in light of what I’ve seen all day — I don’t feel good about being a Democrat anymore. Not one bit. One of the reasons I’m for McCain is because he wants to get rid of things like the above. In fact, it was the Republican Party who stepped in on this one. The Gateway Pundit said here:

“…The House GOP members were able to remove the Pelosi pork going to the Far Left group ACORN from the bailout bill during negotiations last night.
This information was sent out this morning from the House GOP office:…”

Pelosi? What else has she got up her sleeve as regards this election in 2008?

Inquiring California newly ex-Democrats want to know!

Here was the WALL STREET JOURNAL on those meetings in “The Roosevelt Room”

An Inside View of a Stormy White House Summit

McCain’s Return to Washington and Meetings With Fellow Republicans Culminated in U.S. Leaders Yelling in Roosevelt Room

“…The attendees — Sen. McCain, Sen. Obama, the president, the Treasury secretary and congressional leaders — gathered in the Roosevelt Room, a formal meeting room off the Oval Office decorated with portraits of both Democrat Franklin Roosevelt and Republican Theodore Roosevelt.

The president and Mr. Paulson made opening comments, with Mr. Paulson reminding attendees of the gravity of the state of financial markets. Mr. Bush turned to Ms. Pelosi, who announced that the Democrats were going to allow Sen. Obama to lead off for them. The Democratic nominee spoke for a few minutes, going over his four well-known principles for what he would consider to be crucial to the legislation.

Then Mr. Bush turned to Sen. McCain and asked if he wanted to follow. Mr. McCain said, “Actually, the longer I’m here, the more I respect seniority.” He said he would defer to the Republican congressional leaders who were present.

Mr. Boehner, the House minority leader, outlined his concerns about taxpayer protections in the legislation and then talked instead about the insurance-based alternative. At several points, the conversation became raucous, with members loudly talking over one another.

In a television interview, Sen. Obama recalled asking: “Well, do we need to start from scratch, or are there ways to incorporate some of those concerns?…”

You know why I’m going McCain? Like I said:

Reforms, no? Very much in order — it seems to me.
