Democrats in California don’t like the way Obama has tried to brush off some of his Chicago friends. For months we’ve followed the coverage over at No Quarter on this one.
We’ve watched Obama try and drop his associations to things most Americans find pretty questionable — like anti-American sentiment that came from Reverend Jeremiah Wright. When political chickens come home to roost as they did in this recent clip — it’s just a matter of getting the TRUTH OUT isn’t it?
California, the bluest of the Blue States has a PROBLEM with what Obama did to HILLARY CLINTON. It’s a PUMAthing. I guess ex-Democrats who are lining up behind the McCain/Palin ticket now think the past associations are pretty questionable? We do.
An ELEPHANT never forgets… do they? Neither does a PUMAfemme who watched the Democratic Party actions toward the candidate CALIFORNIA DEMOCRATS VOTED FOR, in our blue, blue, green-blue WORLD. West Coast Dems are defecting THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY on PRINCIPLE this year. En masse.
PALIN is correct in this video:
Where we agree is not about “Reagan’s Vision” of AMERICA, but McCAIN’s VISION for what we need to do right now about our tanked economy — ala THE LEXINGTON PROJECT. Obama likes to brush a lot of things off his shoulder, but, what we don’t like is the way he tries to cover up the TRUTH. Haven’t we just seen YEARS of that? We have. We want the REFORMS McCAIN is going to BRING TO WASHINGTON. ETHICAL REFORMS.
WE QUESTION OBAMA ON HIS SELF-SERVING STANCE. AND HIS ETHICS. This is an era when TRANSPARENCY of allies, associations and ties and TRUTH is of utmost importance. We don’t want OBAMA’s glittering generalities — or his TRUTH SQUADS — or his attempts to discount his past associations and friends.
Here is a good story off the NEW YORK TIMES from 2001 on AYERS, so you can learn what PALIN is talking about. It is true that Ayers was a radical, and a WEATHERMAN.
No Regrets for a Love Of Explosives; In a Memoir of Sorts, a War Protester Talks of Life With the Weathermen
The most problematic part of this piece for me this morning is this, given what I have read about Chicago Politics and ACORN’s way of registering people to vote!
“…During his fugitive years, Mr. Ayers said, he lived in 15 states, taking names of dead babies in cemeteries who were born in the same year as he. He describes the typical safe house: there were usually books by Malcolm X and Ho Chi Minh, and Che Guevara’s picture in the bedroom; fermented Vietnamese fish sauce in the refrigerator, and live sourdough starter donated by a Native American that was reputed to have passed from hand to hand over a century.
He also writes about the Weathermen’s sexual experimentation as they tried to ”smash monogamy.” The Weathermen were ”an army of lovers,” he says, and describes having had different sexual partners, including his best male friend.
”Fugitive Days” does have moments of self-mockery, for instance when Mr. Ayers describes watching ”Underground,” Emile De Antonio’s 1976 documentary about the Weathermen. He was ”embarrassed by the arrogance, the solipsism, the absolute certainty that we and we alone knew the way,” he writes. ”The rigidity and the narcissism.”
In the mid-1970’s the Weathermen began quarreling. One faction, including Ms. Boudin, wanted to join the Black Liberation Army. Others, including Ms. Dohrn and Mr. Ayers, favored surrendering. Ms. Boudin and Ms. Dohrn had had an intense friendship but broke apart. Mr. Ayers and Ms. Dohrn were purged from the group…”
It’s VERY PROBLEMATIC to see a headline like this one, out of CANADA this morning!
Given the information available over here at the Wall Street Journal’s MARKET WATCH:
You see, the DEMOCRATIC PARTY has a lot to answer for right now. About these cover ups they are trying to do! They can’t fool the AMERICAN PEOPLE! These are FACTS!
Look at this! Out of Philly off the Bulleton about what happened at the latest concert:
“Concertgoers have to fill out a voter registration form for admission,” said Vito Canuso, chairman of the Republican City Committee. “There is a potential to disrupt the voter registration process.”
Fears exist of the Philadelphia voter registration office being swamped with 11th hour applications, increasing the likelihood of fraudulent registrations being approved. The deadline for voter registration in Pennsylvania is Oct. 6, the Monday following the concert.
However, Republicans are not alone in their apprehension.
Philadelphia’s Election Commission has already put the organizers of the concert on notice they will be responsible for separating the new applications by county. Any applications lacking the appropriate county will not be processed.
The Voter Registration Administration said they are expecting as many as 50,000 applications from the concert…”
“…ACORN, Barack Obama’s own special organization has been caught in Indiana illegally registering people to vote. (”County rejects Large Number of Invalid Voter Registrations”).
Not just any people got registered though. At least one of them is dead. Just like they do in Chicago…”
AND THIS IS BREAKING THIS MORNING!
Lest anyone dare declare that Obama is not tied to ACORN from wayyyyyyy back.
Kind of makes me wonder: Who do we talk to when the Truth Squad lies?…”
Any wonder why DEMOCRATS ARE LEAVING THEIR PARTY FOR McCAIN THIS YEAR?
I can sum it up in ONE WORD!
WE AREN’T GOING TO VOTE FOR A PRESIDENT WILLING TO LIE! Are we? NOPE.
I mean, at this point who does the Democratic Party think it is trying to fool, anyway?
At this point it would be UNETHICAL as a DEMOCRAT to vote for this guy…and you kind of have to question CNN’s rationale too…
This is off my friend Bill Dupray’s blog this morning…
The only question I have for Houston when I say, “Houston — there is a problem” — is Toto? What about that 2006 Kansas ACORN episode from FOX!
And you actually wonder why DEMOCRATS are turning REPUBLICAN in 2008?
“Houston, we have a majorley BIG GNARLEYproblem with the DEMOCRATIC PARTY THIS YEAR!”
Like I said, I’m voting for John McCain on this alone…
“REFORM, PROSPERITY, PEACE!”
Damn straight. And at this point? I’m not sure if the Bidens and the Clintons ought to back this kind of thing. We’re all long term Democrats aren’t we? I have to wonder about Lois Capps too. Or Senators Boxer and Feinstein. Hmmm. I voted them all in, except for BIDEN. I can’t vote for a thing like the above as an ethical DEMOCRAT. I’d leave the Party first…like I have this year…
