You know, I can’t understand how Obama is so backwards in his thinking. He’s already shown us that he is pro-nuke, but now he’s also “pro-coal” — “Clean Kentucky Coal” to be exact. Well, Grist will fill you in on the fact that there IS NO SUCH THING AS CLEAN KENTUCKY COAL. Yet. This is just more doublespeak out of this candidate. Grist calls it pandering. Obama can’t fool environmentalists. Many of us already see the effects of Global warming, as they come true. We were in Al Gore’s camp a long, long time ago. And we have been VERY annoyed since the arrogant Obama said “he might consider hiring Al Gore.”

UPDATE from Washington Post:

“Obama’s Coal Stance, in Kentucky and Beyond”

Obama\'s \

We like Gore. We liked him as Vice President, and we still like him. We need him to be in a major position in the White House. Just today, in The Los Angeles Times, there was an article on Germany and how they are using coal. Haven’t Democrats cleaned up most of the toxic messes in the last 40 years? I think so. So why would you EVER give your vote to somebody who is pro-nuke or pro-coal?

This is what Obama means by PROGRESSIVE? COAL? You really have to read Grist on this. Here is the article:

Obama’s own pander

Direct mailers from Obama campaign hail ‘clean Kentucky coal’

Take a look at his mailers, and his barges of coal. He has the audacity to say he’d consider hiring Gore? What makes a Democrat angry? That kind of boneheaded audacity. Gore is an expert, who can put together a team of experts to start creating clean, green energy. He knows how.

Here is Grist on Hillary Clinton’s PLAN! It’s logical, and it’s a start.

I wish that the politicians could put their egos aside and think about the larger issues at stake, like say, the planet? It’s getting disgusting watching the fundraising. Each day, the press touts who is making what and how much money they need and are getting. Who cares? Who wants a candidate who is lying to the public?

Here is a fabulous article on Clinton and Gore and what they are doing to make America “green.” It’s coming out of Pittsburgh, PA off The Tribune.

In the Grist article above Obama wants to bury emissions “underground.”

That’s the whole problem with him. He wants to keep burying things. Well, that tactic doesn’t work for nuclear waste, coal waste or even his religious views. He’s not in touch with Green thinking. He’s not a tested candidate. He shows no humility to people like Al Gore or Hillary Clinton who have some SOLUTIONS to things we face. Here is an editorial out of New Jersey. Funny, both coasts seem to have the same basic concerns about him. We want the straight story, not the media gloss. We don’t want toxic nuclear waste, and we don’t want nuclear. We want solar and wind power.

This writer voices the concerns of Pro-Hillary Democrats all over the country. The disgust we feel for the DNC right now. If you do this to us? If you take away our candidate of choice, our candidate of SOLUTIONS? You’ll see us move to the Republican side. Right now there is only ONE candidate who is truly Green and that is Hillary. There is only one candidate who can speak for the entire multicultural base of the Democratic Party. It isn’t Obama. Reverend Wright proved that to our country so easily.

On this alone you will have mass defections over. I’d hate to see the Democratic Party die. But, if this is how it looks now? So much arrogance and so little humility? So much anti-American sentiment? So much bitterness from Obama and his pastor? No thanks. The plastic bags Obama uses? He’s non-Green. And non-Green is non-good for America right now. This is audacity. Carrying plastic bags. Isn’t it? The audacity of calling yourself green, and producing and carrying plastic. It didn’t work for Obama here in California. Can you see why? It’s the doublespeak.
