Hillary YES, Obama NO! Read what intellectuals think…THE BOYCOTT EDITION.
Here is my friend over at Huntingdon Post (He’s a history teacher) on PBS’ documentary of FDR…Obama will NEVER BE A PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT. He screwed the MAYTAG MAN over. And when he screwed the Maytag Man, he screwed every worker in America as well. That Michael Moore endorsed him? After making the films he has? I have lost my respect for him, completely. And believe me, I used to love Michael Moore. I thought he was the most original filmmaker in America.
When did Obama’s “Victory” become inevitable?

“…I have been trying to figure out how it is that one can legitimately declare oneself a winner without actually winning. Obama is prepared to do that tonight in Iowa because he is clearly too impatient to wait until June 3, let alone August, and yet every Democratic nominee in recent history has had to wait until the convention. Suddenly, when running against Hillary Clinton, that isn’t necessary.
Obama puzzles me, genuinely. I watched The American Experience last night, the second of two on FDR. It was made ages ago, clearly, and the people praising FDR talked about how he offered hope and change, and certainly one can see how those words might have been powerful in 1932 with the Great Depression in full swing. But FDR had served in the federal government, been governor of New York; he’d been accumulating experience for years before running for president. He was a charismatic leader, but one with a track record.
Obama’s a new breed alright, sort of like when Reagan got rid of the gold standard and the US dollar was backed by nothing but power. Obama is backed by Kennedy, Kerry, et al. Add Byrd. He is not, contrary to his assertions, universally backed by voters. Many, many voters still back Hillary Clinton. The question is whether he and his powerbackers can afford to sneer at those voters.
To some extent they can. Not all Clinton voters are offended by the sexism or are even aware of things like NBC boycotts and movements to send one’s new “Independent” voter registrations to Howard Dean and the DNC. There are probably far more Clinton supporters who will support Obama if he is the nominee than who will not.
But as I was watching the program about FDR I was quite taken with the “coalition” he built. It’s rather sad to see it breaking down now, because it is FDR who was the great uniter, and Obama who will be the great divider. And it is precisely when he became divisive that he became the “presumptive nominee” in the press and in his own mind.
It was not until he began to uphold and even engage in the sexism that was directed against Clinton that he got the boyz behind him. He sold out.
There is a large number of people now disaffected from the Democratic Party who will desert it completely if Obama is the nominee, at least in terms of the presidential race. And many of them are women, but not all of them. And the deserters, the one’s protesting, are not deserting on racial grounds. There are others who will not vote for Obama because of his race, which is deplorable, but the ones he deliberately alienated to get power are leaving because of sexism.
Indeed, one might even thank Obama for that if it reinvigorates feminism, although I am not sure that will be the long term outcome.
Whether Obama ultimately prevails in the nomination or not remains to be seen. But one thing is certain. He became victorious when he realized an old truth: that male privilege will trump a woman of any color any day…”
There is one tactic you can use from the 1970’s. It’s called a BOYCOTT. If you don’t support someone’s ideology or practices, you simply BOYCOTT them. If you think about Obama as Nestle in this read by Tracy Sorensen over at GreenLeft.org you will understand. Since he has had Axelrod brand him in just the same way as an advertiser would, what you do is simply say no. NO. And No again. This is part of what the Second Wave Feminists did to make a political statement. Considering the high levels of sexism we have seen in the media for this America screwing mofobrand so far — think he is going to do a thing for the poor? Or for the ghettos in America? No. Read my post yesterday. This guy could care less about this country of ours.
Here is SAVAGE POLITICS. Wait till you see what he signed.
Follow the Money

“…The idea that hordes of grass roots contributors are driving the financial engine of the Obama campaign is a myth which has been advertised free of charge by a compliant media.
It is a stunningly nurtured falsehood…”
FDR would never have let the Maytag Man suffer this fate. And, I don’t appreciate that John Edwards knew this either, after all the belief I had in him. BOYCOTT people who don’t give a damn about our country. Hillary has a plan to create jobs for all the little people, and men like the MAYTAG man who have lost their jobs here. Again, I want to point you to this article about what Obama voted on regarding LABOR. BOYCOTT HIS TOXIC BRAND. It’s as simple as that. That’s what FDR would do. In fact, FDR would call him on the carpet for his actions.
Here is the biggest hardest thing to swallow, from Lin’s piece.
“…On February 10, 2005, Obama voted in favor of the passage of the misnamed Class Action Fairness Act of 2005 which seriously hampers the rights of ordinary citizens to challenge corporations. Senators Biden, Boxer, Byrd, Clinton, Corzine, Durbin, Feingold, Kerry Leah, Reid and 16 other democrats voted against it.
So did 14 state attorneys general, including Lisa Madigan of Obama’s home state of Illinois. She called it a “corporate giveaway.” The Senate also received a desperate plea from more than 40 civil rights and labor organizations, including the NAACP, Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Human Rights Campaign, American Civil Liberties Union, Center for Justice and Democracy, Legal Momentum (formerly NOW Legal Defense Fund) and Alliance for Justice. SOURCE
They wrote:
“Under the Act citizens are denied the right to use their own state courts to bring class actions against corporations that violate state wage and hour and state civil rights laws, even where that corporation has hundreds of employees in that state. Moving these state law cases into federal court will delay and likely deny justice for working men and women and victims of discrimination. The federal courts are already overburdened. Additionally, federal courts are less likely to certify classes or provide relief for violations of state law”
The bill which will seriously impair labor, consumer and civil rights involved five years of pressure from 100 corporations, 475 lobbyists, and tens of millions of corporate dollars to buy influence. It also involved the active participation of the Wall Street firms now funding the Obama campaign. The Civil Justice Reform Group, a business alliance comprising general counsels from Fortune 100 firms, was instrumental in drafting the class action bill, according to Public Citizen which also said in a 2003 report that Mayer-Brown partners and employees gave close to $100,000 [$92,817] to the Obama campaign by December 31, 2007. Mayer-Brown, hired by the US Chamber of Commerce, spent $16 million in 2003 lobbying the government on class action reform.
According to a comprehensive report form the nonprofit group, United for A Fair Economy, over the past eight years the total loss of wealth for people of color is between $164 million and $213 billion for sub-prime loans, the greatest loss of wealth for people of color in modern history…”
You see, Obama is a sell out. He lets his supporters hang Che Guevara flags up next to his logo. But he sells his soul to anybody who will give him a buck. I don’t think he has a soul. He must be so dead inside he doesn’t even know what truth and kindness are. He even trademarked himself.
Intellectuals and true Greens see right through him. He can’t fool us. We are millions strong, in this country. Put your faith in Hillary Clinton. Maybe she can even make the Maytag Man come home. Where he belongs. Send this other corporate shill packing. Fucking FAKIR. He and his cronies think they can Change Congress? Go fuck yourselves. The spirit of the 1970’s still lives in America. We’re the Greens. You can call us Green Democrats. That’s who we are. And we Feminists? We want our MAYTAG MEN to come to the fore.

Yes that Huntingdon Post has some very good comments and most the time right on the nose!
Obama is a loser no matter what he thinks, he is to far left and he has people worried about many things that he says, his friends in low places and his background. He has an uphill battle against McCain…Hillary would of had a better chance beating McCain.

I don’t mind if people from the Right Wing leave comments here. Go ahead. But know you are speaking to a Green Democrat. If you aren’t sure what that is, you’ll have to read me. My sense is that at this moment in time, both Repubs and Dems (in the middle) have the same concerns for our country. Like Peace, Economy and Prosperity. FDR is my model for a really great President. I see Hillary Clinton through his lens. She is also a feminist. Because I am a woman, she understands my concerns.
