The Clinton years were great years. America prospered financially. We had no National Debt. Now look at our country. Poverty, homelessness — these things are in every state in the land. Why?
I care for the poorest of the poorest of the poor in this land. I was a therapist for them. If we don’t start looking to the homefront again to take care of our own? Then what?
The Clintons care about small town America, and people of all colors. I’m not sure either of the other candidates do. Not as much as Hillary will, and has. Look at the problems in middle America. It’s enough to make me want to be an expat, and just move overseas. Look at this article from England’s The Telegraph about Bill Clinton. He’s the real deal. Why do I like them? They represent an old fashioned kind of Democrat to me. Grassroots Democrats. I loved this article because it shows what they are like, and what Bill Clinton is like.

All I had to do was read about Obama and Rezko, and take a look at those slums in Chicago that those two were in charge of. Does that show care? No. Obama’s wife works for a hospital that “dumps” patients on the street who can’t pay. These people could care less about the poor.

Last night I watched a documentary on PBS on President Bush’s father. I was astonished to learn about him and who he was. I could not believe his years of work in politics, before he became the President of our country. For me, Carter and Clinton represent my values as a Democrat. It takes YEARS to understand the American People as a whole. Years of work, years of service. A President has to pay his or her dues to be in this club. Obama? He hasn’t even done his job as a Senator yet. All he did was pay a marketing wizard to design a glossy campaign. Don’t be fooled by his “glittering generalities” — he is no John F. Kennedy. Do you think Kennedy would have listened to Reverend Wright for one minute flat?
Do you think Kennedy would have turned his back on poverty in America? No. Because like me, his roots are Irish Catholic. It has been our duty to help the poor, since forever.
