Well, well.  How to totally fib about your father’s history in a speech and then get caught by one of the best newspapers on the planet.

“Obama Overstates Kennedy’s Role in Helping His Father”

It’s this sort of glossover the American Public DOES NOT NEED right now.

You won’t see that with Hillary Clinton or John McCain — who each do have personal histories that date from that era.  Just looking at the picture of JFK made me smile.  He’s the real thing, and he could have been one of the best Presidents we’ve ever had if not for the tragedy that befell him.

One thing the Democratic Party does not need right now is a phony.

Funny, the headline is pretty gentle compared to the ones the press has been using for Hillary.

Things like this shouldn’t go unnoticed by a press enthralled with something or other.

It’s just a good thing we have The Washington Post.  They brought us  “Watergate” once upon a time…in an era when journalism was taken seriously.  What great reportage.

Ha! I bag on McCain and you side-swipe me with an Obama-bash? Pretty sneaky, Bonnaire. So the Kennedys got involved in 1960 instead of 1959… an error to be sure, but pretty nit-picking to cry “phony” when your candidate is Hillary!

You say, “the headline is pretty gentle compared to the ones the press has been using for Hillary”

Well, YEAH. And there’s a reason.

Try Peter Paul, for starters, lol.

Come on, sweetheart, we need to back Obama and start attacking McCain… together!

He also apparently tried to take credit for legislation written by others. Interesting, Sen. Dodd, who was one of the authors of the legislation and who was clearly miffed at the time, has endorsed Obama. So if people are going to overlook this slickness, I guess they’ll get what they deserve. He has no values, no firm stances, only slogans and hype.
