Well. Talk about funny. I’ve always thought that Obama had some connection to Starbucks the brand, and now it turns out he has a lawyer that has worked for them, trying to keep Hillary from being able to advertise. What a cheap shot he is, isn’t he? Looks like he can’t stand any competition!

First he comes off telling everyone he was against the war and blames Hillary Clinton. Well, a lot of us are against the war, but you know what? In retrospect what was our country supposed to do, Barack Obama? Where were you the day 9/11 happened? Well?
The point is, what is your stance now, like say on this company Blackwater. Actually, you sound a little war mongering to me, and the whole world is looking at you right now. You keep waffling on your stances don’t you?

Or wait! There’s this from the Washington Times on you! What? You got money this way?
http://www.washingtontimes.com/article/20080222/NATION/853452725
Shouldn’t the FEC really be investigating YOU? In a deeper way? Because who is monitoring you and what you are doing in the web right now? Is anyone in Washington on top of you?
Maybe your campaign manager should read this piece from the Star Tribune, because your brand is wearing pretty thin.

Here’s Boston Now on his Starbuck’s lawyer:
“A member of the Perkins Cole corporate law firm’s executive committee, Robert Bauer, is the Obama Campaign’s lawyer in 2008. Yet, ironically, the law firm of the Obama Campaign’s lawyer represented the special corporate interests of Starbucks and a dozen retailers in 2003 “in a class action for alleged false advertising and consumer fraud,” according to the Perkins Cole law firm’s web site at www.perkinscoie.com “

More on all of this from the fabulous Los Angeles Times here:

“Last week after the Clinton group announced its plan to launch TV ads on …
… Friday, the Obama campaign convened a news conference and threatened legal action. Obama attorney Robert Bauer warned that the pro-Clinton group would be violating federal law by airing the spots because donations to the planned effort would be unlimited.
The legal action could include criminal penalties, the attorney warned, and could be a “life-changing” experience for the consultants and any donors.
Apparently the threats worked and the Clinton people and donors blinked. Plus, trends in recent polls in both states have seemed rather ominous for the New York senator.“

http://amerpundit.com/2008/02/26/rezko-obama-and-auchi/
And what does he have to do with Rezko? I expect we’ll be finding out pretty soon, huh. In the meantime America is watching you Brand Obama. For somebody who is constantly saying how ethical they are? Are you? The New York Times is watching, thank god.

“After months of denouncing the influence of special-interest money in politics, Senator Barack Obama is nonetheless entering a critical phase of the presidential campaign benefiting from millions of dollars being spent outside campaign finance rules.
Mr. Obama has repudiated a California group, Vote Hope, that is working on his behalf. But it has pressed on and, along with a sister organization called PowerPac.org, is planning to spend up to $4 million promoting him in California and conducting voter registration drives aimed at blacks in 11 Southern states. “
More on you and your brand from Fortune…don’t miss this one…look at the hed… yeah, right.

“Obama’s Web marketing triumph
Online strategy has determined much of the outcome of the Democratic presidential race, argues a prominent advertising executive.
(Fortune) — Why does Barack Obama appear to be outmaneuvering Hillary Clinton in the Democratic presidential primary? Part of the reason is his campaign’s mastery of the Internet, says Rishad Tobaccowala, chief innovation officer of the media buying division of Publicis, the French advertising giant.”

See, I don’t think I trust a brand to run our country. One thing about our President Bush, he’s a Texan. And Texan’s don’t take to kindly to outside threats. Hillary, she’s a solid person. She did what she had to do in regards to this war. John McCain — he’s a hero, who survived Vietnam.
But what are you, Obama?
In the end, what exactly are you?
