If you came up “Second Wave” (you were a little kid during these times) you know the generation of women that Hillary comes from and what they were fighting for, then and now.

I’d like to see Hillary Clinton and John Edwards in charge of the country. All I had to do was take a look at the three logos for this campaign. Edward’s logo is my favorite, because it has a green tail like a comet trailing from a rising blue star. Hillary has a flowing ribbon that represents part of our country’s flag, three stars and stripes. Nice and solid. What does Obama have? I’m not quite sure. It looks like a big white pearl rising out of some red and white stripes. Hmmm.
There is one more HUGE problem on his page. To say that he is not playing race against gender is dead wrong. You only need to look on his website under “People” and take a look at his lineup. He isn’t looking at “democracy” as a gestalt, is he? And worst of all? Last on the list, way down at the bottom, is “Women.” LAST? Isn’t that interesting.
Hillary Clinton and John Edwards don’t have this problem with “segregation” now do they? Instead they look to the people as a whole, as most Democrats worth their salt since President Kennedy have. Obama has “People” all neatly categorized by skin color or sexual orientation. It is impossible for me to have respect for someone who claims the years of “Reaganomics” are more important than what Democrats have built. It’s like being a traitor to your own party to say something like that.
We need politicians at the helm that have transcended issues of gender and race right now. We need politicians that can help us diplomatically, not just across the world, but right here in our own country. Personally, I want to see the green tail of a rising blue star’s comet and a portion of my flag, like Edwards and Clinton have. With Hillary Clinton, we will have Bill Clinton back and that will be great. He isn’t going to stand in her way, but support her. If Edwards were to change his mind about being Vice President that would be a good thing. Those two would make a fantastic force for good, and for the Democratic Party.
All I had to see during the debate was Obama raise his hand at Hillary, dismissing her, when he brought up Wall Mart. One action of his hand towards her and I saw just how he regards women overall. All feminists saw that. Well, I’m of the same age group that Mr. Obama is, and that gesture was the most digusting thing I’ve seen yet. That was all I had to see, and he lost any chance at my vote.
Go Hillary, and please, John Edwards, stay a part of this. Our country needs you. You two are Democrats. In the full sense of the word.
All you have to do is look at the websites for each of them. It’s simply their names plus .com. You’ll see.
